The Efi Arazi School of CS Alumni Interview Coaching Program
Meet a Reichman University Computer Science student, before their job interview for a 45-minute personal interview simulation. Share your experience, create new relationships and change someone's career!
Help a student land their dream job
Any RU student would be privileged to have someone with your first-hand experience and invaluable feedback alongside them on their career journey.
While supporting a student in preparing for their job interview, you'll also engage with the RU network, building meaningful relationships.
Pay it forward
Nothing quite compares to the warm, rewarding feeling you get knowing that your input and support has changed someone's life for the better.
Not only will RU students stand to benefit from your expert advice and guidance, but RU will also donate 75 NIS for each completed session to a charity that assists unprivileged students or develops the university.
Your time. Your choice.
Matching between alumni and students is based on the students' needs and your experience and availability.
As soon as we have an appropriate match, we'll be in touch regarding scheduling options but you're in no way obligated to conduct a session should you have limited availability.
-
Step 1. RU Alumni sign up
Once signed up, we’ll take you through the Wizco expert onboarding flow guiding you on how to structure the session and providing example questions.
-
Step 2. Smart matching & scheduling
You'll only be matched with students whose desired position relates to your area of expertise and scheduling a session is as simple as saying yes or no.
-
Step 3. interview coaching session
Once confirmed, you'll conduct a 45-minute one-on-one interview coaching session, debriefing the student on what they did well and how to improve.
-
Step 4. Feedback & Contribution
Once the session ends, the student receives your feedback along with a video recording of the session to the applicant and donate ₪75 to a university cause.
Have a question?
Who will I be assisting?
You'll be assisting RU (IDC) students in their 2nd or 3rd year of studies. These students have limited experience when it comes to interviewing and your invaluable feedback will make all the difference when it comes time to their real interviews.
How much does the session pay?
In partnership with Wizco, RU (IDC) have agreed to donate ₪75 to an underprivileged student or university cause for each session you conduct.
How often are the sessions?
It really depends on your availability and experience.
Some experts are able to commit to regular coaching sessions, while others do one every few weeks or so. We aim to sign up professional experts with relevant background in the applied position and industry, so the more experience one has, the more likely they are to get multiple matches.
How does the matching process work?
Once a student has been invited to schedule a mock interview, they'll be required to update their session profile with information regarding their upcoming job interview, desired position, company and any special requests they may have.
Using this information our matching algorithm scans our database, providing us with suitable experts whose experience and skills fit the student's mock interview needs.
How does the scheduling work?
As soon as we you've been matched to a student request, we'll get in touch to confirm your availability.
If you're approached with a student match, you're in no way obligated to provide any time slots should you have limited availability.
How long are the sessions?
The mock interviews are 45-minutes long.
How should I prepare?
We've got you covered. Before your first session, you'll have access to our coaching onboarding guiding you on how to best structure the mock interview, how to give feedback as well as a bank of questions you can use during the mock interview.
How does Wizco protect my privacy?
